All Is Fair In Wine and Cheese

Liquor before beer, you’re in the clear; beer before liquor, you’ve never been sicker (or so the saying goes, although there are some nights that prove otherwise).

But there comes a point in every girl’s life where they decide they don’t want to live by those rules and choose wine. This time most probably comes right after a long Scandal-binge (which is totally understandable, because Olivia Pope is life goals and a very legitimate excuse for a following wine-binge).

I’m digressing.

When you choose wine, a funny thing happens to you. The night starts off fairly classy, but then it all hits you in a rush and you’re running down to the Publix downstairs begging the kind police officer to let you in a minute past closing because you just ran out of wine. And right from the point that you check out and pay, your night is going to take a very interesting turn.

Afterwards, you’re going to think. You’re going to think about life and your very purpose. Not in the oh my gosh why did I drink the tequila and make out with this boy way, but in the god what life choices have I made to make me kiss this beautiful boy when I have so much purpose in life and could have been doing more progressive and productive things and –yeah.

With wine, there are few regrets because you know the certain sequence of events and emotions had led you to do the very bad thing you did; it’s just a matter of understanding them.
